Stay away from Vodacom

The worst company to EVER take out a contract from. My partner took out a contract out a contract in October and within 7 days he wasn't happy with the performance of the device. Store would not take it back, he contacted head office who contacted the store and said he can return the device at no cost, which he did. In November they tried deducting a few hundreds which declined although he no longer had the device in his possession. (Contract amount was R970). In February this year, they deducted R300 (and something) which he disputed. 5 March he got an email stating that he has a summons against him for R5400 and that he'll be handed over to the debt collectors. Where does the 5K come from? The device was returned in October, he used the device for less than a month and there was ZERO mention of a cancelation fee. Please stay away from these unprofessional, greedy, suckers.
