Stay away from a Vodacom contract

I'd like to give Vodacom no stars but that isn't an option.

It's easier to go to Mars than to get out of a Vodacom contract, which had already expired. We have spent many hours cancelling and re-cancelling an expired contract to no avail, they just keep re-contracting and sending updates on the status of the account.

What does it take to get out?

Thank you for the reply. What is the status now? The account holder got another three SMSes to indicate that he's on another contract as well as a contract cover, none of which he wanted.

Despite the quick response from the Consumer Website Team, nothing has been done about this issue. The account holder once again got an SMS to notify him that he has been placed on a contract and that he has to remit an amount to settle the account. It will now mean that I have to waste prescious time to go to a branch and do the entire process all over again. Thank you Vodacom, if this isn't resolved today this number will migrate to another network that has better service and I will dissuade anybody from dealing with your company.
