speaking into an empty vessel

two months ago Vodacom phoned me about a data contract for two hundred rand a month because they could see i was buying data at the end of every month. I agreed to the terms and conditions on the phone and was told that I had two weeks to return it if I was not happy with the product.

Upon reciept of the modum on a Thursday I activated the card..... the modum was not responding so I called Vodacom Customer Care on the Friday to be told that the card was in the process of being activated and that it would take up to 72 hours......so I waited for 7 days and phoned customer care again to complain about the modum not being activated and was told once again it would take 72 hours to activate the card because it had not been activated upon which i had enough and told them I was not happy with the product and that they were to cancel the contract and come and fetch this piece of *******.. I was told by the consultant that it was cancelled by her on the system ... The Wednesday following that a male from customer care phoned me and asked me how the contract was working for me upon which I told him I had cancelled the contract and they were to fetch.....He then told me that they had activated the card and all I had to do was put the card in the modum upon which I refused because I had cancelled it within the fourteen days I had to return it if is was not happy.......Now Vodacom is billing me for a contract that I cancelled and still has the cheek to bill me pro-rata for something I never had ..... Vodacom get your side right.....I have two contracts ready for upgrade that were from autopage that yourselves took over and I have an existing Contract that is due for upgrade in two months time which I have been using from the day you opened your doors....All of which will be cancelled over your two hundred rand modum contract that i cancelled...... your customer care consultants need to be trained in a manner that when they say something it is within their job juresdiction. Pick up on the recorded messages I had with them and listen to what was said ...your system says all calls are recorded for security purposes. Waiting in anticipation to hear what the next promise is .
