South Africa "best" network provider, best in providing the lining of there wallet.

Once again I have an issue with Vodacom. Like an idiot I renewed my contract with them. So read on and be amazed as Vodacom finds new and interesting ways to mess things up for me.

So my debit order for my contract goes of on the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, but for some (spectacular self justified reason vodacom couldn't give me when I called them back) it attempted to go off on the 01/11/2017, this wouldn't have been an issue as there was enough money in my account, BUT... the debit order bounced. So I got a missed call on my cell ONLY ON THE 3RD Nov about not paying my accout at about 10:44 and then some repeated attempts later the same day, as well as on the 4th( saterday). So I only call them back on saterday the 4th as fridays are really busy for most retailers and I realy didn't have the time on the 3rd. But on the 4th when I called it said that I reached them out side of there business hours and that I should call on Monday, but out of sheer fear of them messing up my bureau score I did an eft to them on saterday, unfortunately I could not forward the proof of payment to them as Vodacom has done away with emails that client can use, we need to call them... do you think its cause if you did correspond via email about a compliant you'd have a "paper trail" you could fall back on . But good old trusty Vodacom kept on calling me, and by the luck of the universe I missed every one and of course when I called back" please call monday"( don't know if they expect you to embed the cell in your head or they just expect you to be on your device every second of the day plugged and blowing your hard earned cash into there bank account ) . So I called them, and got told some intresting things. 1. I should reverse the eft from my bank cause they don't deal with efts from that bank... then I got transferred and got told that I would be penalized R100 for MISSING my payment(THE MONEY WAS THERE! PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THE BEAUTIFUL SCREAN GRAB OF MY PRIVATE INFO I NEED TO FLAUNT TO MAKE MY POINT) AND THAT THEY WOULD LOAD IT ONTO THE... WAIT FOR IT.... BUREAU, YES THE BUREAU, causing my score to drop! So I asked to send my statment to show that there was money, and that I was told that if it was not my mistake( and that they have had issue like this ) that they would rectify it and remove it from bureau . But, I got charged the extra R100 and my score has dropped on bureau. So now its going to cost me extra cash so I can get e detailed report from the bureau just to see if they did drop my score. I also now will have to go to the ombudsmen for credit and service, resulting in more time waisted.

So whats the crux of this experience ... they dont care! If they mess up your option for future or undo all your hard work, its not there problem. As long as the get there cash, they will follow the easiest procces available to them and if they can squeeze some extra cash out of you in the procces, its a happy day!
