Sony Xperia Z1 Bent and Cracked Screen

Two months after the purchase of my Sony Xperia Z1 I noticed the phone was bent. At the time I didn't think anything of it as the phone worked normally (besides the abnormal overheating when charging). After I noticed the bend I immediately researched the problem to find that there are many cases like mine and that this matter was caused by the phone charging. I've read the various stories online and I've read that Sony has declared some Z1 phones as faulty. Then a month later I went on a hike with my phone when I took my phone out of my pocket it was cracked. I've done more research and it turns out that because of the bending there was more tension on the screen and the slightest knock would cause a crack. When I explained this to the employee at the vodacom shop they told me that because theres a crack its considered abuse but this would not even happen if the phone had not bent. I've never cracked the screen of any of my phones. Now vodacom sent a quotation and I have to pay R2642.30 for a problem that wasn't even suppose to happen.Here's a link with a guy that has a similar problem: [URL Removed]
