Sony Xperia E5 terrible customer service

I bought the latest Sony Xperia E5 on contract on 19 September 2016 at Vodacom Data Store Bayside. I only had the phone for about 3 days and took it back to the nearest Vodacom Data Store at Bayside as the battery just 2 drained by itself within a few hours (e.g. full battery at 6am to 40% battery by 12 noon). After waiting almost 2 weeks I eventually received a brand new phone. This phone too had the same problem. I decided to take the phone in to Vodacom Repairs Century City to speed up the process. The phone was send to the Advanced Repair Centre in Johannesburg and was send back after a week with an engineers report "...software upgrade". I took the phone home and the battery still drained. Back to Vodacom again... same process - this time it was escalated to Advanced Repair Centre for a credit... the phone was returned after a week with engineers report "...software upgrade." I was notified that the phone was received at Century City. This time I told the repair centre to check whether the battery is still draining as I am not willing to collect a faulty phone for the umpthieth time. I was told by a technician that the battery is still draining. They immediately returned it back to the Advanced Repair Centre. I received a call from the Advanced Centre wanting to know what the problem is as the phone was sent back to Century City. I explained that I am fed up and I want a credit or a new phone... Today I collected the phone at Century City with the engineers report "part replaced" (new battery). Why? After going back and forth for the third time. I am sick as I am typing this review as my phone is still draining. I collected the phone at 18:51 and it was 94% charged, the battery is on 37% and its 00:03? How is that possible???!!!! Im angry, Im frustrated. I just want a credit or a new phone. Here is my job number: ********** 0. How many more times do I have to go back to the store? Its two months later and I am paying for a phone that I have not used. I am being issued loan phones with minimal functions? This is unacceptable!!! Please, I expect a response from Vodacom.

Reviewer Update

I have received a call from Vodacom today, briefing them on the problem. The gentleman took the job number and promised to come back to me soon. I am hopeful to receive a swift response to have this problem sorted out asap as the phone with the new battery is still draining.
