Sold a Huawei phone under false pretense
Bitterly disappointed in Vodacom and particular the Vodacom store at the VNA Waterfront which is absorbed with staff filled with such arrogance! On the 3 July, I accompanied my mother to upgrade her current contract and phone. We were offered a Huawei phone, which was understandable as she had the phone for the last 2 years, what we didn't know and what Vodacom did not share with us was the CUSTOMER AWARENESS - HUAWEI MOBILE SERVICES FORM that basically states the phone does NOT have the same app capability as her previous, older phone due to the black listing of the brand by the USA. Apparently all reps need to inform customers of this PLUS get them to sign a form. Neither of this happened and my mom purchased the phone under false pretence. Unfortunately, it took just under a month for me to realise this as personally I am not a Huawei fan so when my mom came to me mentioning that the phone does not work the same as her older phone I knew there was an issue and on further investigation, I discovered everything that I just mentioned above. I went into the store where we bought the phone and explained this to a very arrogant Manager by the name of Melissa who basically told us it's our fault and not theirs that WE were not made aware of a form that vodacom staff need to tell customers. You can't make this up. My mom is now stuck with a phone that is basically useless. This needs to resolved, as it's honestly unacceptable we get blamed for this very clear, ********* sales tactic that the branch is engaging in!
When exactly am I going to get a call from Vodacom?
