Soft-lock does not work! Be careful, don't let them con you!

I have 3 devices linked to my account and a R200 call limit set. When I go over my limit, my account is suppose to "soft-lock". Prior to this, when I get close to my call limit, I am also suppose to receive an SMS warning me. My bill is around R1800 every month, but last month, it I was invoiced over R2400. I called them up to query it. I asked them why my account did not lock and they said they will request a data report to investigate. When we received the report, it shows that I went over my limit on the 25th March. By the 28th March I was well over the R200 call limit too. When I asked them why I my account was not lock by the 28th and why I did not receive a warning SMS, they ignored my question regarding the SMS's, but did respond to the soft-lock question. They threw the usual T&C bullsh*t speach at me and said that the softlock is not a guarantee to lock the account. So why de F%CK do I have it then? To make you feel better when you F&CK me over??? They gave me Bullsh*t about my device downloading and that is why it was not locked. Funny thing is, I use my iPad mostly for business (emails). So how de hell is it possible that my device was "downloading" so much data all the time. Even if this is true, where is my SMS??? If I received an SMS, I could have prevented my device from "downloading", as they claim it was... Vodacom seems desperate for cash and will find any dishonest way to con you!!! Be careful, softlock means nothing! I had enough of these clowns, my next step is the Ombudsman.

Still no answer on my two questions... my account has been debited though. God forbit there is a problem with payment. Then you are in trouble, but the moment something needs to investigated, the customer can wait...

I would like to thank Allister from Vodacom for his assistance in rectifying the problem and also advised me on what can be done to avoid a similar incident. I am very satisfied with the response/service received.
