SMS to collect incorrect

I received an sms at 11:58 am on 30-10-2015 informing me that that my job number ***6 was ready for collection at Southgate. I thought this was strange as the phone was handed in at Norwood.

I called the Southgate branch at 10:24 am on 02-11-2015 to confirm that the phone was ready for collection and they confirmed it was and that they closed at 6pm ( I can't remember who I spoke to on the phone, but Sim will know).

I drove from Orange Grove to Southgate and waited patiently for my phone for a while. I was concerned that it was taking so long after 15 minutes and was informed that the delay was due to 'Several items on the work order that had to be checked'. After 20 minutes total wait I inquired why these things had not been checked before I was sent the sms and then they asked me if I was sure the phone was there.

They had evidently **** about checking the work order - the phone was not there.

The sms had the correct work order number but no-one knows why it was sent. I drove a long way (with a chest infection I might add) and wasted a lot of time trying to collect a phone that wasn't there.

Kindly reimburse me for my travel expenses and time.
Furious
Leon
