Smartphone tablet complaint contract complain

I was offered smartphone tablet contract without my knowledge by vodacom consultant telephonically .I insisted that I don't want anything that will add up on my existing contract because I'm unemployed .She promised that it won't instead it can even decrease what I'm presently paying.
