Slow service on repair on cellphone
My Samsung's touch screen functionality broke on the 1st of February. I took the phone in to get fixed under the insurance contract I have with Vodacom at the Vodashop in Marshall street. On the 3rd of Feb I receive communication that the phone can be fixed and that I need to pay R400 access on my insurance. I made this payment on the same day.

After two weeks of no feedback I started following up in the progress of the repair. On the 15th of February the feedback from the service centre was that they still hadn't receive the spare part, but will receive it \later in the week\". By Friday the 19th I requested an update again and the response was still the same-no spare parts received.

I have send another 2 follow up emails, on Monday the 22nd and again today with no reply.

It's unacceptable that a service provider that prides themselves on good service take a month to repair a very popular phone. If they don't have spares on hand they should make a plan and get it! This lack of urgency and slow service is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will remove myself from the Vodacom insurance policy so that I NEVER have to make use of this useless service again."
