Six year Battle With Vodacom Faud

Since 2009 I was a loyal costumer to Vodacom, upgrading and paying my accounts. In 2013 I upgraded again and within 4 months received a bill which was 8 times more than my contract agreement, I made an inquiry at the nearest Voda shop only to find out that there was TWO ********** ACCOUNTS taken out on my name in Heidelberg. I even have the copies for these accounts with my copies of my id document and some else pictures and signatures. I stopped the payments to Vodacom immediately as the ********** accounts were investigated. The investigation took Vodacom more than two years to complete in which time I got hard locked and could not use the remaining contact term which includes the services and data. I incurred massive losses to business and administration to get my phone number changed. Eventually Vodacom completed their investigation however still billed me for the services and data that I could not use due to the hard lock status. Any attempt to resolve this which included a personal visit to Vodaworld in Midrand, all lead to dead ends and a telephonic call that ensured me that the account is settled and closed left me with the surety that all is settled. Today after 6 years since I took out this contract I found out that this account is still active and that it has been passed on to the attorneys for collection. I would like to WARN anyone who thinks of opening an account with Vodacom, you will probably fall victim to ***** and get a bad credit rating due to Vodacoms incompetence to solve a simple procedure such as internal ***** investigations and accounts settlements. After 6 years since this nightmare started I am still locked in a battle with a company that does not know the fist thing about customer care and component personnel. Please do not make the same mistake I did and stay away from Vodacom!
