Single View of Customer? HAHA
1. I go to Mall of the South Vodacom to update my surname and street address for my invoice to reflect my correct details. 2. Consultant at Vodacom confirms that everything is updated, although, it takes 30 days to process and update. 3. I go online to check if my information has been updated. 4. My online profile has my correct surname, my invoice and statement both have my ****en surname. 5. My invoice and statement have two different addresses - one with the new one, one with the old address. Both however, still reflect my ****en surname, my online profile reflects my married surname. 6. I call the call centre, apparently said Consultant from Mall of the South did in fact NOT log a call for the changes. 7. I’m informed that it can actually be changed within two days 8. Now I’m asked to submit my ID - but certified and they’ll do it for me. 9. I now need to AGAIN waste my time with documentation as it wasn’t completed first time when I went into a branch to see a consultant. 10. Your Call Centre team leader promised to call me back to tell me why my invoice, statement and online profile are different. And only if necessary then I must submit my certified ID. 11. Call Centre team leader called me Back, didn’t leave a message, didn’t sms or email 12. Two weeks (today) he calls back and says, oh we haven’t received your email. 13. I say, we never agreed as Injave t heard from you 14. He says, he tried calling, I didn’t answer - didn’t I see the missed call (yes, because I recognize an unknown number out of the 15 calls I get a day 15. I say, where are other means of communicating - is. Email, sms - silence and no answer
Vodacom, I’m one individual, you gave me by my *****. I cannot move, I can threaten to move, but you will charge excessive cancellation fees.
Your systems do not work. You do not have ONE single view of me. Your processes and systems are appalling.
If I am to sit in a queue to send certified documents, it will be to open account elsewhere.
Vodacom, you have me by my *****. I am disgruntled
