Simswap conflict

Hello Peter I wrote below to Vodacom customer service 2days ago still no response. Kindly assist. See below:

Kindly assist with a simswap for my Vodacom number ***. I was recently house armed ****** on the 24th of January in my house where my valuable items including my phone a Huawei P40 lite which I bought via cellc but using my old Vodacom *** number was taken. A police case was opened I also blocked my sim over the Vodacom call centre and through electronical automated response Tobi. Security question were asked and I answered them successful and my line was blocked including my device. A week ago I got another device then tried to do a simswap using Tobi helpline and was referred to a Vodacom store to bring proof of residence for my number to be reinstated of which I did and failed the requirements needed to do that. The branch consultant Pinky in Nelspruit vodashop referred me back to the call centre for further assistance as she couldn't do anything to help me due to failing to give the last 5 numbers I called using the number in question. She concurred with the back up of her colleagues Laurencia that it is impossible to get my number back and that Vodacom systems are unable to do such. I was refused to see the manager and referred back to the call centre to speak to the agent and she referred me back to the branch. I explained to the agent what the consultant said and she even spoke to the branch consultant but they all agreed on the same thing. Being a former bank employee and knowing different ways of identifying a client I was very disappointed with the resolution I got from this employees. Surely a world class company like Vodacom should be having a way to resolve such silly matters considering the fact that I had all my identification and proof of what transpired with the number that I have been using for years and a police case,I even explained that I used a dual SIM which made it hard to remember the last dialled because it could have been done with my MTN number because I was owing an advance in my Vodacom number with the fact that the device having the numbers was taken aswell. A cellphone number is like an ID number it is linked to almost every important thing in my personal life and business. Opt numbers of my emails, sars etc are linked to that. I can't just be dismissed like that just people are lazy to do their jobs then resort to destroying my identity because they are not willing to go an extra mile to resolve my issue. Surely Vodacom would know and have ways to help their clients experience such issue at entry level questioning considering the rate of crime in this country. I surely hope this inconvenience will be resolved with immediate effect as I'm loosing business and other stuff due to this. Really I can't be inconvenienced by ********s and my service provider after they did such a wonderful job of blocking my line and now refusing to open it. This should be my last line to resolve this matter without escalating it further to other platforms and believe I know other channels.

Regards Vincent Lawrence Mnisi *** or *** ***(blocked)
