Sim swop error after nearly a week not rectified
On Saturday (5 Mar 2016) it will be a week which I am unable to use my new cell phone I got at the Canal Walk Vodacom Datastore. This is due to a SIM swop error they are seemingly unable to rectify.

According to the store, a staff member erroneously swopped my paperwork with that of another customer after I left the store. This customer subsequently got my number and I was left without any.

We contacted the store and on Tuesday 1 Mar 2016, the assistant swopped my SIM for a brand new one in the store. I waited 48 hours (should this not be 24 hours max?) to be connected to the Vodacom network - no luck.

Tonight I called my own number again and guess who answered - the customer who erroneously got my number over the weekend! She was also promised all would be rectified. Above all, she already lost about R26k worth of business due to her real number not being available.

Bottom line, I paid for a service which after nearly a week I am still not getting. The same applies to the other customer who has my number.

Petro (the store owner) did not want to talk to me personally over the phone (why?) but the assistant promised it would be rectified.

Will it really be fixed this round?
