Sim swop

I had a ********** sim swop done on my contract phone more than a month ago. I have been battling to get a copy of the call made to the call center. I was then informed that there was no call recorded. I have now been sent a letter stating that Vodacom do not take responsibilty for my loss due to the sim swop. (My bank account was hacked due to the sim swop) I feel that Vodacom tell you that they protect your interests as well as all your personal details when you take out a contract yet they allow siw swops to be done by apparent syndicates put cant provide me with proof of the call. Now they expect me to smile and accept that they dont take responsibility. Becareful who you trust as your service provider and what you sign because they dont keep their word.

The word phishing seems to be what you blame everything on. I see in the letter received that this is your excuse for not taking responsibilty for your companies errors. I am aware of all the different ways people get hold of your details and I am not ******** to this therefore I do not give out any personal details to anyone, but yet this is where we all seem to hide behind when the going gets hot.

I am extremly disappointed, sorry no I am not disappointed I am appauled at the service and feedback given by a company like vodacom, Forensic departments, legal departments yet no happier customer.

I will not be a part of a company like yours any longer I am looking to have my contracts moved to a more secure cellphone service provider.
