Sim swap For R150.00
In 2018/11 I learnt that my sim number is a contract nr. So if I want to do a sim swap I have to get a letter first which I did receive the letter via email from Edgars. I never used it anyway. So I lost my phone on Sunday, so I bought a new phone today and still want to use my old number which I have had since 2013. This sim gave me R50 every month and I don't have problem with that but my problem is I have to pay R150 for a new sim and then get a sim swap. I refuse to buy a sim card for R150 where as I can get a sim for R2. I load more then R150 of airtime on that sim every month and now have to buy the sim for R150. So I called today at vodacom and I was referred back to Edgar's, who said I have to deal with vodacom cause I said I no longer want the 50 airtime but give me the number. I also asked Zanele (vodacom consultant) and she too referred me back to the retail shop. No one wants to help me. I never asked my prepaid number to be contract. A number been used since 2013 till 14/04/2019 and I have spent more then the R50 air time given to me. I'm so annoyed
