Sim Swap
I called Vodacom call centre for a sim swap. I lost sim some 3 months ago. I had to answer some security questions which I didn't answer correctly and the lady referred me to the Vodashop & told me they wont be asking me questions but I should take my ID & proof of residence. I went to Vodashop (Protea Gardens) met 2 ladies with the worst attitude. I explained to them why I'm there, Mpumi asked me the numbers I called in 30 days after I had explained I haven't been using the sim in the last 3 months. I had to call the call centre again so they can explain to their consultants in store because clearly there was some miscommunication between them. the call centre lady asked them to do an Itemised billing for me which will give me some info of question they asked. Elda/Thelma(sp) refused, saying no one in store was registered for that. I was so frustrated by their lack of knowledge about their systems & processes because they were always ready to dismiss anything the call centre was suggesting they should do. I was not able to do a simple sim swap in the store after I was there for more that an hour! now I have to do an avidavit to prove the sim card is mine! how pathetic!!!
