******* sim swap

Hi, can someone explain to me what security measures do you have in place with regards to doing a sim swap. On 07/08/2023 I got and text message from Vodacom informing me that my sim swap would be completed.

This message was sent at around 10 in the morning, I only saw the message at 13:00 in the afternoon. Then I saw that I could no longer make calls using my sim.

Then I had to go to a Vodacom store to try to get this mess fixed. Fortunately when I got there a sales person was able to assist me. I called your customer care, which cancelled the sim swap that had been requested.

Then the shocker was the nonsense that I was told, that the sim swap was requested using a bot on your website. What kind of security measures are in place when a sim swap can be requested using a bot.

But when I was trying to cancel it, I had to answer questions that I was told was to make sure that I'm the owner of the number. This is nonsense, an inconvinience most of all a total disregard for your client who have been supporting you for years.

I'm not impressed at all and I'm very disappointed. I need answers and someone must account.
