SIM Card unactivated, yet I'm being charged for it.

On the 21st May 2016 I went in to the Vodacom 4U store at the Glen shopping centre, looking to get a data sim card for my Ipad Air 2.

I was told it would take 2 days max to activate. I waited a week and still nothing, I returned to the store and was told "the initial consultant who helped me did not do the process correctly" I was told to wait another 2 days as "it was now done properly".

After 2 weeks, my sim card was still unactivated! But the debit order went off? I began to suspect it was my Ipad, but when I inserted my mobile sim and my wife's sim card, It worked 100% with vodacom.

I again, went back to the store and explained this to them, again. I was assisted by a man named Milrik this time, he assured me it would take 5 days to activate it after waiting for an hour at the store. He told me the problem was on the actual sim card itself, I was given what seemed to be a new sim. (Not with packaging)

I waited another full week, and guess what? Still not working.

I went back to the store yesterday (26 June 2016) with the same story, this time I was told by 4pm in the afternoon it will be connected. Guess what? Till now, It is still not connected but Vodacom makes me pay but refuse to actually give me what Im paying for.

I was incredibly patient with Vodacom and the people at the store, but I am starting to feel as if that patience is being taken for granted and abused.

I am very unhappy with the level of swrvice and technical assistance I have been recieving, and I recommend that everyone refrains from using this branch as they seem to not know what they are doing there.
