sim card crash

Vodacom did a sim swap for another person with the very same number im using and the number was active. I then received a call from one of their consultants confirming that he accidentaly did a sim with my number to other person and that I will receive the sms and I must just ignore them. after that call I received an sms notifying me that someone requested a sim swap.then in the morning my phone was not working until now, I called customer care to report and the said I must go to Vodacom outlet to report the matter, when I arrive there they were unable to assist, I called them again and they said I must go to the police and request an affidavid, I told them that Im so disappointed at their poor service cos it was not my fault. now my phone has been off since, but im available on ***
