Signed a contract with the wrong package.
Miss Leading and signed a contract that was not what I asked for!!!!
I have always had 24 month contracts with all my contracts and I have 4 with Vodacom. So in November 2016 I was due to Upgrade my Data Package and either get a laptop or a new tablet and this time I decided to upgrade to the Pavillian 15 red. When I went in the first thing I asked was did the contract come in a 24 month contract instead, as it was advertised at 36 months and the guy that helped me said it can but the monthly premium would go up which was fine and I wanted a 3 gig data Package. so did all the paper work and signed everything as I never had issues before with the 8 years I have been with Vodacom. Now its time to do the upgrade and I got to 2 sms's confirming upgrade is due 28 October 2018, I also went to Fourways mall to upgrade the contract and was told I had to wait until the 28 October as its a top up contract and could not do a upgrade before the date. This I found very strange as I never had this issue before. So I called Vodacom to find out what is going on and now the upgrade date has been moved to 31 August 2019???????. what F#$%&. Now the contract has gone from 24 months to 36 Months. And customer center was useless and and all she could say was that there was a glitch in the system. But been getting emails to upgrade and I have the SMS's saying I can Upgrade. If anyone reads this other then Vodacom dont go to Vodacom and if you do read the contracts carefully even it it takes you along time as they do not fill the correct information. I will be cancelling all my contracts as soon as they are due to and will be moving over to MTN which I have a contract with for the same time period and had not 1 issue with them besides some area's don't have signal. Vodacom likes to ripe people off.
