Sick and tired of Vodacoms non existent customer service
Our complex was built with Vodacom fibre infrastructure. We have no choice. Vodacom are both backbone and ISP.
We pay monthly via debit order and regardless of how often the fibre goes down or how long it takes to fix it, we still get billed full price.
We've had endless issues. Most recently, our fibre has gone down at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks, with the problem being the exact same thing each time.
Last night our fibre went down again. My service request went unanswered. My neighbours received different answers.... 1 was told that someone would be here today, another was told "within 3 days".
Some of my neighbours in our complex work from home and are now struggling with no connection or having to buy data to hot-spot for work.
And yet, on the 1st, no discounted debit order.
The service is atrocious and I am anxiously looking for an alternative.

Thank you for your response.
While the issue was fixed, I have to admit that I am very disappointed with the way it was handled. Communication was minimal and it took way too long to fix. I was without fibre for more than 3 days.... We lost connection Sunday night around 20:30 and we came back online on Thursday.
I think that at the very least we should be credited for the time we did not have fibre, approximately 3.5 days in total
Also, what guarantees do we have that this will be handled better in future?
