Sick and tired of Vodacom's consultants empty promises
I have had it with Vodacom Fibre. In March I wanted to cancel because Wirulink offered me a better package for R60.00 pm, which I was willing to take. I spoke to a consultant who then convinced me to stay with Vodacom, he offered me the same deal Wirulink offered and my monthly installment would be less. A few months went by, and out of the blue, I did a speed test; it was not as it was agreed upon. It was agreed that Vodacom upgraded my line to 100 download and 50 MBPS upload When the test was done, it averages no 50 MBPS UL and 50 MBPS DL. I called in and spoke to a lady who confirmed that the upgrade was correct but in March, someone made adjustments to my account and the system defaulted my settings back to what it was. This was to be investigated and feedback to be provided once done. Time went by and I heard nothing. I called in again and spoke to Katlego. First, he tried to BS his way around stating that this was a 3-month special deal but when he realized that I was not backing down, with attitude he asked me, what do I think is the best solution? He confirmed the findings as the previous lady before and advised that I needed to call back on the same number, select option 4, and request that I be put back on the agreed plan, which I did. Now, I have spoken to consultant number 3, whose name is Bongi, who also confirmed the same, and then said she would email the back office to assist by putting me back. This was last week. I called in again on Friday, the 14th June, spoke to Bongi again and was now told that because of the long weekend, there are no back consultants, not even a manager. She promised to get this sorted by Tuesday the 18th of June. I called in before 18:00, spoke to Zola, who confirmed that the whole department in which Bongi works, has left already and I cannot be assisted. Why do I pay a premium just to be told nonsense each time I call in? Why am I getting attitude from Katlego when he is suppose to assist me? Why does Bongi fail to give me feedback? why does your cancellation department close before 18:00, when they usually knock off at 18:00? When will this issue be sorted out? Why must I, the client suffer? Without fail, I pay my premiums? Vodacom, adjust premiums and plans as they seems fit, and we as clients just have to accept it and now service is becoming and issue. I need this matter solved ASAP. if this is not solved before Thursday the 20th of June, I will be writing to the Ombudsman.
