Shockjing sales person

I am deeply grieved at the treatment I received in your shop at OR Tambo. Last Week, Tuesday morning I flew into OR Tambo from New Zealand via Singapore. A 22 hour flight. I am a 76 years old pensioner and had to struggle with my luggage being 2 large suitcases, 1 smaller and 1 backpack on a trolley. The battery in my phoned had died and I had no way to contact the person meeting and collecting me from the airport.

On seeing a Vodacom shop I entered and asked the staff if they could help me by charging my phone for maybe 5 minutes just enough to make a phone call. Your employee named Jeffrey Khoza slammed a 2 pin connection pack (just over R500.00) in front of me telling me I would have to purchase the package as they could not under any circumstances charge my phone and then he smugly walked haughtily off.

What a welcome back into South Africa. No thought to assist an elderly woman, who was struggling and in great distress. How absolutely disgusting. However your white female assistant offered me a cheaper package of a 2 pin plug ONLY R399.00.

Is this how Vodacom operates? Is this how you train your staff? No consideration? No kindness, no willingness to assist?????? Just make a sale, regardless of the circumstances???? Shame on you. It would seem that your staff are only interest in sales and to heck with decency. Is that what your company is about???

I am so glad that my decision to cancel my Vodacom contract was correct. This has confirmed I made the right decision.

I would like some kind of explanation and consideration.
