SHOCKING Vodacom service - sends sms to a blocked phone??

My phone was ****** and needed the IMEI number for the insurance claim form so contacted Vodacom this morning. I told the agent on the call that I needed it for the insurance claim. She proceeded to make me wait about 10 minutes with that ridiculous call centre music playing. She then came back on the line and "happily" told me that she had sent the number by sms. I asked her how she expected me to get this and why she sent the sms to a ****** phone which had been blacklisted and the sim card cancelled. She seemed "stumped" for a response and could not answer. Then seemed teh light bulb went on and she asked me to hold. The next thing I was being asked by the automated voice for my "feedback" (which I gave zeros to for everything!) and the call ended!!! I am flabbergasted at the poor service - how do you train your service agents Vodacom???

NO YOU DID NOT CONTACT ME VODACOM!!!!!!! I HAD TO CALL AGAIN IN THE AFTERNOON TO SORT MYSELF OUT. USELESS!!!!! IT IS NO WONDER THAT YOU REMOVED ALL YOUR EMAIL ADDRESSES AND ONLINE CONTACTS AND CUSTOMERS CAN NOW ONLY CONTACT YOU VIA THE CALL CENTRE. I JUST SPENT 15 MINUTES HOLDING ABOUT ANOTHER QUERY (MORE *********** BEHAVIOUR FROM YOU) AND EVENTUALLY GAVE UP. I AM NOT SURE WHO HAS THE PATIENCE TO HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES?????? GO MTN...CELL C...ANY OTHER SUPPLIER OTHER THAN VODACOM!
