Shocking service while trying to upgrade

In the beginning of October I phoned the Vodacom Sales and Upgrades number and proceeded with the upgrade of my contract. I decided on a black Xperia X phone on a U Choose Smart S contract.

What arrived at my door through delivery by RAM couriers was a box with a sim card inside. No phone.

I phoned Vodacom Sales and Upgrades, they said that they were aware that their was a mistake on my order and that the sim card and box will be collected after which my new cellphone will be sent to me.

A couple of weeks passed with no pick up. Feeling frustrated I went into a Vodacom Shop seeking assistance. The person there told me that he can't help me since Vodacom works in franchises and that I will need to phone the Vodacom Sales and Upgrades number again and try to resolve the matter over the phone. What I did find out from him was what my new total monthly installment per my contract with LikeMinds as the service provider/franchise for Vodacom, was going to be according to his system. It said R729.50 a month. It included an amount of R149 for (My meg 500) data which I never even agreed to. I was not even aware of this. I repeatedly asked the persons I was speaking with what my total monthly installment was going to be and they all stated R479 per month, each time. All the recordings of my calls to Vodacom should be available for reference.

Another couple of weeks went by and nothing happened. I phoned Vodacom Sales and Upgrades again and asked to speak to a senior person. The gentleman (Scott was his name I believe) informed me that he can see on the system that their was an error in my order and that apparently at the time I was upgrading this error occurred with numerous other people where they only received SIM cards and no phones. He assured me that the couriers will be informed that they need to pick up the box with SIM card. Upon which my upgrade would be reversed and I would be credited for the incorrect installment that went off in November as it was an amount that I did not agree to and on a contract for which I haven't even received the phone yet!! He said that this whole process would take about 7 to 14 days.

Today we are at 14 days later and you wouldn't believe it, but the box with the SIM card is still with me. No one has come to pick it up. The installment of R729.50 has gone off per my debit order and I have no new phone.

I only see 2 options left here. Either you reverse my upgrade immediately and credit my account with the incorrect installment amount, so that I can go into a Vodacom shop and go and do a new upgrade myself OR you cancel my contract with Vodacom immediately so that I can move over to a different service provider. I do not want to hear anything about another 7 to 14 days. I want an immediate resolution. I have been with Vodacom on the same number for over 15 years and I have never in my life had such poor service.
