Shocking service from Vodacom

I was due for an upgrade so I went to Vodacom 4 U in Richards Bay Boardwalk more than a month ago. I wanted the iphone 7 which they didn't have in stock, but was told that they would contact me. After 2 weeks I eventually contacted them and was informed that the phone was there. I received my new phone but soon realised there was a problem with it because everybody complained that they couldn't hear me. Because I live 120km away from town I could only take it back 4 days later. The manager refused to give me a new phone even though it is an out of box fault and I was told that it had to be tested first. Apparently it was sent to Umhlanga where they confirmed that the phone was faulty and sent it through to head office in Midrand. After another 2 weeks I went back to Vodacom just to find out that my phone was back even though NOBODY once again bothered to contact me. I was told that there was nothing wrong with the phone. That same night the same thing happened and I took it back the next morning. The manager didn't want to believe me until I phoned him from that phone so that he could hear for himself. I was then told that maybe my sim card was faulty even though I used the same sim card in the phone that they lent to me. The manager insisted to test it himself and soon realised that it wasn't the sim card. He then got hold of the gentleman from Midrand that said that there was nothing wrong with my phone and tried to convince him that the technicians from Umhlanga were actually right. This happened on Friday 9 June and I was promised to get a phone call from the manager on Monday morning 12 June. Eventually at 12:00 I phoned his shop once again. I was told that they didn't have that phone in stock and that he would get back to me. It is now 20 June and I am still waiting for a phone call. This has been going on for over a month now. I am appaled by the service and am sorry to say that this whole incident gives Vodacom a VERY bad reputation.

Then there is a huge comunication gap between head office, the technicians and the manager from Vodacom Richards Bay. I sat in his shop, opposite him, when he was on the phone and I was told that the technicians from Umhlanga said that, when they tested the phone the first time, they picked up that there definitely was a problem with the phone. I personally spoke to Malcolm from head office after that and he assured me that I will get my new phone, because he then also realised that the phone was faulty.
