shocking service from manangement

On the night of the 19 th March I forgot my password and on phoning Vodacoms call centre was given the incorrect puk number which resulted in me being locked out my own phone . I was then informed to visit the nearest Vodacom agent to rectify this problem.

At 9am on 20th i then went to Queensburgh vodacom shop where i tried to get my problem sorted out . The lady sold me a sim card to do a sim swop then told me that the call centre had a problem and their systems were down and that she would get the sim sop done . i was asked to come back at 1300 to collect my sim card which i did. upon my return I was again told that the sytem was still down at the call centre. i Then phoned the call centre to speak to a supervisor as i was not happy with the fact that I had been given no other explanantion other than the system was down . When i phoned threough to the cll centre I was kept on hold 10-15 min before a supervisor came on the phone. I then asked him if the fact that I had been waiting so long for him on the line was an acceptable service level. To which he just appologised and caried on with the conversation. Afetr explaining my situation to him it was apparent that he had not listened to a word tht I had said . He asked me the number in question for the query and then proceeded to ask me a number of security questions which I answered correctly . He then dissapeared for a moment to verify the details then came back to ask me what my last invoiced amount on my cell bill had been . ( now I am not sure about everyone else but I do not carry my bills along with me everytime i phone a call centre!) so I toldhim I had no clue . He then asked my account no , again I told him I had no clue . He then told me that I was inside a vodacom outlet so I asked the lady there who gave me my account no .

At this point he then stated he couldnt do the sim swap as the information had been compromised. When asked how. He stated that because the lady at vodacom had given me the account no??!. He had imp**** I should get it from her when he stated tht I was inside the vodacom store! Bearing in mind I had answered all the other security questions correctly!. I became angry and then asked if he was prepared to help me , yes or no . He then stated that I had broken the process???

All through this conversation Mr Mpho Maloka had been rude and arrogant and not really helpfull in any sense bearing in mind that it was actually vodacoms fault in the first place for going on the old system M2 and not the new system C3D to obtain my puk no which lewad to me being locked out of my phone. This supervisor was even unprofessional in the sense that hed asked to be handed over to the lady in the shop who was way mor helpful than he was , only to **** all over her . Again is this what Vodacom teaches their managers ??

I have been a customer of Vodacom since cell phones came to SA and have never had to put up with such unprofessional and ********* behavior . I am no considering moving my bussiness elsewhere. I run a bussiness and for me to be treated like I was is totally out rageous and unacceptable ! Just shows that even the management dobt care . He even stated tht there was nobody there above him at the time of the call.
