SHOCKING SERVICE

I was due for an upgrade on my phone, an upgrade was done through Vodacom, i was told there was no stock on the phone i wanted ( Iphone 7 plus) granted it is a new release i knew there may be a wait list. I was told 3-7 days. It has now been over a month, there is no one i can talk to other than the upgrades department who keeps telling they are sorry there is no stock, they do not know when there will be and that i'll just have to wait untill one day when there is stock. I find it hard to believe one of SA's leading cell phone companies has no stock on a phone for over a month, aside from that they have no one who is able to help or at least communicate as to how long the lead time wil be. It seems it could take a month or maybe even 6. Should i just hold on untill one day someone is able to perhaps give me some answers or do i change service providers ? I believe i have been patient, i would love some answers and hoping perhaps someone out there will read this and be able to give me something more than than aloof (sorry i cant help) attitude i get from the upgrades department!!!
