Shocking service

I handed my Samsung in at Vodacom Woodlands branch on the 13th of July for repair. The screen went black and couldnt do anything. I received a quote quickly which was R1628 to repair they said it was phisical damage even though there was no crack or broken screen, i then said it need to be repaired through my Vodacom insurance. So from there it was just downhill, I did not hear from them and then started following up from my side, they then eventually came back and said my claim was denied as my insurance was in arrears, how this is possible i dont know as it goes off on one monthly debit order and i have never been in arrears. The store manager then said after numerous calls to store i need to phone Cell sure myself and they were very unhelpfull and spoke to a very rude lady that said i need to pay my account and sort it out with the store, after my frustration i said it is a useless system as they both pointing fingers at each other, where she then hung up on me. Eventually after phoning again they said that my claim was now approved with a R400 excess which i wasnt very happy with but have no choice i need my phone! I then again followed up the 8th of August and was told my phone is fixed and in transit, to date i still havent heard anything as they said i would receive an sms upon receipt, i suppose once again i have to phone and follow up as the service level in Vodacom Woodlands is shocking and the staff are not equiped to work in a customer service field !!! Then i have never been treated like this by an insurance company and find it absolutely unacceptable. I will be looking for another service provider once i get my phone back.

Vodacom, to date no one has contacted me or come back to me regarding this matter, I phoned Vodacom woodlands today and apparently my phone is ready for collection, but no one informed me. They said an sms was sent but could not give me details as to when this was as I never received an sms. Your overall attitude towards customers is shocking, and I am seriously done with Vodacom for good. I will make sure as many people as possible follow me to another service provider
