Shocking service

I've recently stopped my contract at Vodacom. With the notification I received my contract was to end in January. Today is the 31st and my airtime and data has basically been "******" as I can't make any calls or anything except when on wifi.

This is first of all unacceptable. You're very quick to jump on customer's backs when payments are not done, but this is truly shocking. When I switch over to prepaid, why does my current data and voice minutes just disappear? I still paid for it, so where's my refund?

Secondly, I want to port my number away from Vodacom to Afrihost. After being transferred and on the line between various agents for 15 mins, I was told that I should contact the new service provider, as Vodacom only deals with incoming ports, and not outgoing. Based on the subscription information I received, I should receive information from Vodacom that allows me to port my number, so this left me further frustrated. Could the first person not have told this to me?

These are some of the main reasons I'm leaving Vodacom, as service is truly not high on the agenda anymore.
