Shocking Service

In February I switched from prepaid, to contract, with Vodacom. Upon application for the contract, I specified to the agent over the phone (it was an online application) that my contract MUST be a closed contract, otherwise I end up with a huge bill at the end of the month. The first month went by, and everything was fine. The second month came, March, and suddenly I had a bill of R1150. I phoned Vodacom and they told me it was due to data purchases, fair enough. I have no problem paying that. But then they mentioned there is an amount for OUT OF BUNDLE DATA USAGE. Now, I specified it must be a closed contract, so how can I have out of bundle data usage? Also keeping in mind that I'm on wifi 24/7, when I'm at work, or at home. I hardly ever go out, as my work hours keep me too busy. My phone's mobile data is almost never on. So Vodacom phoned me back after our first call, and I was emailed a migration application form, to switch over to closed contract (which should have been closed from the beginning, now giving me unnecessary grief) which had to sign, and send back with proof of ID, before the end of March, so that's what I did. My debit order date is the 1st of the month. However it has been coming off my account only on the 3rd every month. Not a big issue. On the 3rd of April, the full amount was deducted off my account. Even the out of bundle data charges due to Vodacom's ***** up. If I was notified that my data bundle was depleted, I would have no issue paying the excess. But I was not notified. So the amount was deducted. On the 5th of April, 2 days after the payment was made, I was phoned by a Vodacom agent, after I took to social media about this issue. He told me my balance so far for April (which was only 2 days after the payment) was already on R1400. Which is IMPOSSIBLE. For some reason I have not been abe to make any phone calls from my phone, so it cannot be due to that. Also, I had not been without wifi coverage those 2 days, so again, not possible. My mobile data has been off all along. Yet I still get this large bill. Vodacom has not rep**** to my emails about the migration to closed contract application. If my contract had been a closed one, since the start, this would never have happened. But because Vodacom has royally *****ed it up, I'm now the one sitting with large amounts of money I need to pay. Extremely infuriating.
