Shocking level of service received

Vodacom unable to provide settlement letter after two request made . First request was made on 09 November 2019 when I discovered the information I was given when I was advised to switch to a sim card contract , after my initial cell phone contract had ended , was not factual . I was advised that when I have decided on the phone I wanted , I would be able to migrate the sim card contarct to a contract with a phone. When I contacted Vodacom on 09 November 2019 - to migrate my contatct to a contact with a phone that I liked - I was told that my sim card contract can only be migrated to an air-time contact. I wanted to get a new phone for my birthday, which was on 10 November2019 . I phoned again today , 29 November 2019 , was told that I could not be assisted- I can only get the settlemet letter on 07 December 2019 . My intrention was settle my account with Vodacom and then port my number to MTN as they had an amazing deal that I was happy with. Having to wait until 07 December 2019 will make me lose out on a great cell phone deal .

Reviewer Update
I initially contacted vodacom on 09 November 2019 to obtain a settlement letter.... It never arrive. Called them again on 29 November 2019 to request the same as I wanted settle with Vodacom and port my number to take advantage of a Black Friday deal at MTN. I was advised that it would not be possible to obtain the letter I require on that day.... I would only be able to obtain the settlement letter after the 07 December 2019. I received the automated response email from Vodacom on the day I wrote my review on hellopeter. I get a call only today to say that I would be able to get the settlement letter today. This is already after the Black Friday deal had expired at MTN. The review on hellopeter was handle in such a way that I would purposely lose out on the deal at MTN. Very frustrating.
