Shocking legal department! You'd think you would want to help people when their loved ones pass away!

On the 5th September I went into the Vodacom store at Fourways Mall. I had all the documentation neccissary to open an account and move all of my Fathers contracts from his account to mine. Their service was really great in store, but we hit a speed bump in that the account was in arrears and required me to email in all the documents proving my father's passing.

I had to email these documents to the legal department. I did so on the same day and received an email in return saying that the legal department had received my email and that I would hear from them within 5 days. It is now the 20th and I still have had no word! I phoned the number provided and this didn't even get me to the legal department, it put me back to regular customer care, who one can imagine were no help.

I have also sent 4 emails to the legal department asking for an update with regards to the reference number I received. I have not heard back from.

Today I asked one of the customer car staff to see if anything had been done. The lady told me that the situation Harding even been logged into the system!

The way things are going I might even consider closing all contracts, paying a penalty and moving to a new provider. This would be a huge lose for Vodacom as I am only 28 years old, and I run my business with these contracts.

You would think that you would want to help people when they lose a loved one, not make life even more difficult for them!
