Shocking Aftersales Service from Vodacom

We run a boarding house in Blairgowrie, Randburg. We had fibre internet installed about four years ago. Recently, the house manager who installed and paid for our WiFi service moved in with his girlfriend, and we took over his account. We signed for a new account, received a brand new router, and on 1 April, the local Vodacom agent installed the router successfully. Two days later our internet service was terminated. Try telling that to your tenants. After registering several service requests, we were told ten days later that the previous account holder had never authorized the release of the Vumatel ONT box out of his name into ours. We contacted him, and he immediately authorized the release of the ONT box and gave us the release code. We passed this on to Vodacom, but still we had no internet. Eventually, after numerous calls, our internet became active after two weeks of no connection. But then we hit a new problem: although we had signed for the 20 megabytes per second package, we found that the internet download speed was painfully slow. We ran a Google Speed Test and found that the download speed was 0.65 mbps. We reported this to vodacom severl times, they then asked us to run a ethernet speed test ( ethernet cable connecting laptop to router. This we did, plus three new Wi-Fi tests. All of a sudden, the download speed was up to 21 mbps. But just a week later , the download speed is back down to 0.6 mbps. We have registered a new service request, and we are still waiting for the correct download speed, along with our tenants. Every time I speak to a consultant, I have to deal with a new person. There is never one person dealing with your service request from beginning to end. This is the biggest problem. Your call is distributed to call centers around South Africa, so today you speak to soemone from Midrand, tomorrow to someone from Port Elizabeth, and the following day to someone from Cape Town. This is got to be the WORST consumer service I have ever experienced in my life, and we may actually loose tenants because of it. Furthermore, I am a financial trader and I lost R 17,550 because I was unable to edit an open trade I had in the market. Fortunately, after much begging, my broker agreed to reverse the loss as a "once off goodwill gesture". We are very worried about loosing some of our tenants. If we do, we are going to take Vodacom to Court.
