Shameful Vodacom practice
In March I subscribed to a second contract with Vodacom for my son. About a month ago my son informed me that he had no access to the data on the top-up contract. Last week I followed this up by calling Customer Care and I was informed there was a block put on his number and the consultant requested for the block to be lifted. There was nothing to explain the reason for the block. In addition, I was informed that the request would take 24 hours to be cleared. Whatever the reason is for the block, Vodacom did not think it proper to inform me of the reason for the block, yet they had no problem in debiting my account and taking my money. What shameful business practice is this?

09 Oct 2024, 21:31Let the record reflect that no one contacted me from Vodacom. In fact I called them and spoke to someone called Ashrin. She informed me that there was no record of my previous call when I initially reported this to Vodacom. It seems Vodacom disconnected my line with the number beginning with 079... Yet they have been debiting my account with the money for that number. Vodacom your serve stinks. It is beyond pathetic!
