Shame On You!

I truly cannot believe that Vodacom is able to get away with the truly abysmal service it provides its subscribers. I have been a Vodacom subscriber since 1995 and signed a Smart-S package in April of this year. The upgrade was incorrectly processed and for 3 months I was unable to access mobile data, despite being charged for it... the last straw came when I tried to call the helpline to follow up on my query to be told that I had exceeded calls to the helpline number and needed to wait 10 days before I could call again! I mean "what the actual @$(#@*&?" How can you do that to people? Despite promises of financial compensation owing to the inconvenience Vodacom had put me through, I received nothing. I left it at that, as I was just grateful that after 3 months I finally had a working phone. Fast Forward to October of this year... I per-chance call Vodacom to load an additional data package onto my account and get told that my account has been handed to "pre-legal". I have NEVER been in payment arrears in my entire life... this was an error on Vodacom's part... I have called almost every single day since then and each time my request is "escalated"... yet my phone still remains on "pre-legal" status. The nice young lady I spoke to today realised it was because nobody had requested that the R9000 outstanding amount was never reversed and rectified. Duh! Of course the account is just going to carry on reflecting as delinquent. Do you actually know how difficult it is to type this post without using the most visceral and absolutely foul gutter-language? I am beyond angry! Kindly sort this out immediately. I would also like a letter of apology from Vodacom, compensation for the out-of-package data and airtime I have been levied and a copy of my clean credit bureau report (obtained at Vodacom's cost) confirming that this massive "error" (sic) on Vodacom's part has not negatively impacted my clear credit rating. I don't even have the option of being able to port to a new service provider even if I wanted to, because my f...antastic account is sitting in "pre-legal". I am flabbergasted at the absolutely shoddy way you have treated me this year! Shame on you and shame on your brand!
