Shake every day ****
Vodapay ‘Shake everyday’ competition ****. So I had this nagging feeling that this competition was a **** by vodacom to make you spend money in order to receive VodaBucks to gamble away on the shake everyday. So I saved up VodaBucks to test this theory... ended up with more than a 100 shakes and all puzzles missing a single piece (except the nonsense surprise box). As it turned out you can keep shaking forever whilst the algorithms generate hundreds of extra useless pieces and ‘free smoothies’ but you will not win any of the advertised prizes. You will get all the puzzle pieces up to the last one but then the algorithm will start to only re-generate pieces you already have. Now I will attempt this experiment again and will table results with the math estimates based on how frequently new puzzle pieces are generated up to the point where you have all except one. My hypothesis is that the algorithm is fixed from that point on to provide illusion that you can win a prize (which you can’t) in order to get you to spend more money. Sure it is ‘random’ but Mathematically you should be able to randomly hit ons of these numbers more frequently unless the algorithm has been fixed from that point on
