SHADY WARRANTY POLICIES(****) .BEWARE when purchasing CELLPHONES from Vodacom

Anyone looking to purchase a cellphone from Vodacom needs to be aware of their ANTI-CONSUMER WARRANTY POLICIES.

I have been a Vodacom customer since I first bought a cellphone and I've been a Vodacom contract customer for at least 9 years now and they treated my like trash today when I tried to get my phone fixed .

Today I went to a Vodacom Repair store to hand in my LG velvet as it no longer reads Sim cards or memory cards anymore . Mind you I bought this phone just over 7 months ago so it is still in warranty . When I got their and explained to the consultant what my problem was she took my phone and in LESS THAN 10 SECONDS SHE REJECTED MY WARRANTY CLAIM TO GET MY PHONE FIXED . HER REASON IS THAT MY THE CLASS AT THE BACK OF MY PHONE IS CRACKED . MIND YOU THIS "CRACK HAPPENED LAST YEAR DECEMBER AND THE PHONE HAS BEEN PERFORMING PERFECTLY EVER SINCE UNTILL NOW .WHATS WORSE IS THE CRACK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH MY PHONE RIGHT NOW AND THAT CRACK IS THE SMALLEST EVER AND YOU CAN BARELY SEE IT IF YOU NOT PAYING ATTENTION. MY PHONE IS IN ALMOST PRISTINE CONDITIONS AND MY SCREEN DOESN'T EVEN A SINGLE SCRATCH ON IT .

VODACOM DOES NOT WANT TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY ON PHONES THEY SELL TO US AND WILL DO ANYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO REJECT OUR CLAIMS .

Tomorrow I will add links to pictures and videos of the condition of my phone currently and EXACTLY HOW MINISCULE THE DAMAGE IS .

Guys please BEWARE that VODA**** can void your warranty for ANY physical damage including marks scratches or ingravings

THIS IS THE LAST TIME IM EVER BUYING FROM VODA**** ..when my contract is over I'm gone !!

I have had mostly good experience s with Vodacom in the past but this has completely changed the way I view them
