Settlement Letter

I have cancelled my Fibre contract on February 2021 after being told that I needed to wait for at least a month before canceling it. I had settled my account with Vodacom at that period however I have been told that because I sent a cancellation request after a certain period I needed to pay for the installment amount, I agreed with everything Vodacom said because I wanted the account to be closed. I started a home loan application process and today I was told that I needed to get a settlement letter from vodacom, i then called Vodacom requesting the settlement letter however they told me I owe R10 and I needed to pay that and sent a proof of payment. I did exactly that immediately and sent the proof of payment to ***. I then called customer care requesting the settlement letter but I was taken for a ride the whole day, being redirected to different departments with no indication that I was going to get the letter. I was left with no choice but to write this as I have no choice because my home loan application is being affected and Vodacom does not find it important for them to send me the paid up letter even if I managed to make the payment without even questioning why I owe the amount I was owing after I closed the fiber account in February 2021. I tried to speak to billing people however they told me that I cannot speak to them, tried the manager and failed. I asked for their help and they kept telling me I need to wait for 48 hours. Cant Vodacom help me as they claim to always be with the people, because of that my home loan application can be declined. SR***. What I need it’s the letter only

Vodacom Consumer Website Team promised me that someone will contact me but it's already midday and no one contacted me. Instead, I tried again to contact Vodacom customer care but they failed me. Do I need to escalate this and request the Vodacom CEO Mr. Shameel Joosub help me because Vodacom people don't want to help...

There is no problem with my email as I received email without any glitches, I checked my spam folder to make sure but nothing from Vodacom apart from that email notifying me on the service request status. Please send me the email yourself and attach the document and I assure you I will be able to receive. You are relying on what’s in your system and that it’s misleading you. Please send me the Letter and confirm by giving me a call, I doubt there will be any glitches there.

Pull your guys socks up when it comes to customer service, you have been telling me that you are escalating but I haven’t seen any results.
