Settlement Funds have disappeared without cancelling my accounts.

I requested a settlement amount for the cancellation of two contracts. The funds were transferred to Vodacom public recipient account and Proof of Payment, Signed Cancellation Quotation and a copy of my ID was sent to ********** as instructed on the cancellation quotation.

I called retentions department and spoke to a person who advised me that the funds had been received but I would still be debited at the end of the month according to the quotation. After looking at the quotation I noticed that the settlement amount includes the amount the 1 x month remaining amount which has been paid.

I then called again only to be told by a completely different story by the next consultant. Apparently the funds had not been received at all now.

Does anyone at Vodacom know what they are doing? Does not seem like it.

Vodacom are now holding me hostage in a contract that has been settled and I am probably going to get charged again at the end of the month.

You are not calling me on the right number as I have had no calls at all. Please call me on ********** . I tried calling your retentions department and they tell me the same thing.
