Service ?..... What Service???

I was prompted by Vodacom that my upgrade was due in October 2016, which I promptly called the online number as this was meant to be easier. I spoke to an upgrade consultant who helped me process this on line. He duly informed me that my new handset would be delivered to me within 3 days. It is now a month later and I'm yet to hear from anyone in that dept. I called them back and after speaking to 4 different consultants due to there network dropping my calls ( none of them bothered calling back, because that would be too much work for them) I was unceremoniously told that my hand set was out of stock. When asking them when they were expecting stock, I got a uninterested answer of they don't know and I should just wait till someone contacts me. The question here now is... Will someone call? After all, no-one bothers calling their clients back when the calls drop on their network. My experience with deal with this company is that you are just a number and the fact that I spend anywhere from R2500-R3500 per month doesn't phase them as the think that bad service and customer communication is part and parcel of dealing with this organization . With all the unrmployment in SA, maybe a clean sweep is nessary from the top down, and the right people who pride themselves on service and know what value of any customer is, will be employed. Now who knows when I will get my upgrade, if it will ever happen at all.... I won't hold my breath. P.s below is a screen shot of how long I waited on hold while they were finding out if a store had handsets before I put down because I had to take another call.....

Regards,

Fustrated
