Service suspended even though Vodacom has my payment details

My Vodacom account is paid monthly from my credit card. I had to change the credit card details at short notice due to my card being ******, and a new card being issued. I provided the new card details to Vodacom in order to settle the account. Despite this, Vodacom suspended my cell phone service and now requires me to pay a fee to get the service up and running again.

An update on this: I spoke to Makhala Mapanyane on 6 September who took down my new credit card details and informed me that the account will be settle. This did not happen and my cell numbers were all suspended on 25 September. I then spoke to Willona Thabile Makhubo on 25 September, who told me at 4pm that my cell numbers will be reinstated by 6:30pm on 25 September. This did not happen.

So, after a week you phone me once, don't leave a message and refer to this as "tried to make contact with you"??

Hmmm, I signed up with Vodacom, even though it's a bit more expensive, because of the customer service. But if this is the level of service Vodacom now offers, I may as well go with one of the cheaper providers.
