Service request

I’ve been a Vodacom customer for more than 16 years. My bill is debited directly from my credit card. My card expired in November 2016. During December I received an sms from Vodacom to update my details. I phoned Vodacom as requested and was told that someone will phone me within 72 hours to take the new credit card details. By 9 January, Vodacom had not phoned back, but had called me with an automated recording informing me that my account was in arears. I went to the Vodacom shop in Cresta to seek assistance. Vodacom Cresta could not assist me on their system, but phoned the Vodacom helpline. I was assured by the call centre agent, an subsequent conversation with the supervisor, that Vodacom would get back to me within the hour and that everything will be sorted by end of business (my service request had been “escalated”). By 18h00 I had received no feedback from Vodacom and phoned the call centre. I was told that no service requests had been logged for me since 2014….how is it possible that 3 people working at the Vodacom call centre basically **** to me, and that no service request had been logged? I have now managed to log a request with a new “team leader” after having explained my situation to a further two call centre agents. My SR ref is ............................ Please assist, no one deserves this kind of service, simply to update a credit card expiry date
