Service incompetence Vodacom Norwood

On Thursday 22 June we collected a contract renewal phone for my daughter. The phone was a clear out of box failure as it did not charge properly. On Sunday the 26th we took it back to the shop, there was no replacement phone and we were told we have to wait 7 days and we would be contacted about the outcome of tthe investigation inot the fault. Of course no one contacted us, and upoo phonin g the shop, it transpired that nothing had happened witth the phone after all this time for some ridiculous excuse.

Still no contact. And there I thought Vodacom actually was able to spell Customer service. Now they tell me they can't even unlock or repair the phone they sold us in the first place. Now they have to send it back for us to unlock it, and then they send it back. Why did they not ask in the beginning? So all in all a process of 3- 4 weeks until hopeful resolution and that with a brand new phone after being a client for over 20 years.
