Seriously unhappy client

When opening a contract with Vodacom the staff is most helpful, after 2 years for this contracts, when I want to cancel it, it turns out to be a mission. You must phone to load the cancelation then hold on for 15min to get a consultant to assist. Then spend another 15 minutes trying to convince the consultant why you, the client, after the 24 months contract period has come to an end, why you want to cancel. I am more then happy if Vodacom will pay the contacts for me then I don't have to cancel. After all this Vodacom will send a sms or email confirming the cancelation. Also stating in the first sms, without receiving the cancelation sms or email the cancelation is not confirmed. With this process Vodacom can keep you in the contract and debit your account as they like. Is this not *****? Needless to say I called them 10:50 this morning received the upgrade sms info at 10:54, still no cancelation sms or email. Meaning the client, me, must now phone again and go trough this all again to cancel the contracts. They advice one to call *** this is the cancelation dep, ironic that when you call this number it just go dead on you. That is wat they call customer service. Lest see how quick they respond to this.

Still no one from Vodacom from cancelations dep phoned me, what is to be expected form the cancelation department with this wonderful customer service. I have only a few days left to get the cancelation confirmed as I phone them already, as they requested, need to be within my 30 notice period, but you cant phone them before the time must be in the 23rd month to give 30days notice. This means Vodacom is stalling.. I will be reporting this to the ombudsman also.
