Sent me on a wild goose chase.

I took a contract with Vodacom two years ago and have been paying them every month. I cancelled my debit order and actually ccancelled the bank account the have been debiting from. How can I be billed for a debit order on an account that has been closed for 10 months?! That account doesn't exist.

I get a call today and i was informed owe them for the past month.Further stating I owe them for a bounced debit order. I tried cancelling the contract by calling customer care, I was told to go in store. I went to the Benoni Lakeside Vodacom to try cancel and get a sim swap on the number in question and I was told to call customer care. I have to run up and down and sent on a wild goose chase to cancel. When I'm unsuccessful I get billed! On top of that im being billed for a service I no longer use or want. I have a right to cancel without it being a mission.

What really upsets me is the run around that the consultants have been trained to take us on. I can't stand being mistreated and accused of not wanting to pay.

I warn people to not take contracts with Vodacom. They don't oparate in good faith. They are ********* and will entrap you into debt!
