Sent a working phone in and got it back not working

I went to Vodaworld a short time back to take my phone in for a screen and camara repair. The lady who booked my phone in asked what the problems were and I told her that the screen is cracked and the camara is faulty plus I asked her if it is normal for the phone to get really warm when I use "Maps" on it...She took the phone and opened the camara app and she heard the noice it makes and even told me that she can hear it. On the paperwork side of things she noted down...1-screen needs repair...2-camara faulty or noisy and 3-phone over heats---I told her before signing the paper that the phone doesnt overheat but gets hot when I use the "maps" app for to long-she said its fine they will just look at it.

I recieved a call a few days later telling me that the repair will cost me R6000 plus...I had a mini fit and asked about my insurance-apparently I dont have insurance-I even phoned vodacom to quary this because when I took the phone contract I was under the impression that insurance is a given and not something you ask for when you have a contract-I guess this is my own stupidity-I then told them not to fix the phone because I dont have that money and that I will have to live with the phone as it is.

I went today to Vodaworld to pick up my phone only to find it not working. I then called for a manager and the manager and myself had a heated discussion. My problem here is that the phone did work when I booked it in-I explained to him that the lady who booked it in even tested the camara(I saw camaras in the store so you can go and play back the video of the morning when I took the phone in and you will see that the phone was still working)

Right, I told them to book the phone in and fix it---not fix the 2 faults and the apparent main chip...no, but I want the phone back in the condition I took it in and that is---A WORKING PHONE!!!

I refuse to pay money for a phone that was handed in working and then returned not working-I am not trying to pull a move here where I am trying to get the phone fixed for free-NO-all I want is a working phone back that was working when I handed it in-thats all
