Selling Sub standard products to South African Consumers

I bought my first Qualcomm 3.0 Snug Charger at my local Vodacom shop. The battery expanded after about 8 months and I took it back. I was asked by the shop assistant if I left my charger on overnight? I admitted to doing this. The only solution was as per the shop assistant was to not continue to use it incase it explode and that all I can do is to buy a new one. Which I did. I bought a new Qualcomm 3.0 Snug Charger from Vodacom approximately 6 months ago cannot remember the exact timing. I dutifully looked after it and ensured that I never charged it overnight. It is currently 100% fully charged. However now when I try to plug in my charger the charger, even though confirming that it is 100% charged, does not to switch on at all so I cannot charge my phone. So 2 bad experiences with the same product supp**** by Vodacom.

My question is why do we sell sub standard products to the South African consumers? Many thanks for reading this. Tiekie

Dear Vodacom, not just that simple to close the complaint. I assume that not each store has it's own supply chain and that the directive and deal with suppliers are done at a head office level. So Vodacom's deal will be with the supplier of Qaulcomm Snug and then stores order as you say when they need. Is there a regular quality check on the products supp**** by your supply chain or is that not part of your policy with your suppliers. If you cannot help me please provide the information on who your Qualcomm3.0 Snug supplier is and I will contact them.
